"We’ve only had Carla for about two weeks, but honestly, she’s already become part of our family. My little boy took to her straight away. She goes to bed with him every night. What surprised me most was how helpful she’s been when things feel overwhelming. At Sunday school, his usual buddy couldn’t get in because of the ice and he was really struggling. Carla helped ground him enough that he could sit at the table with the other children, with her on his knee, and just be okay. Then there was the pantomime. I didn’t think he’d manage to sit for the whole thing, but with Carla, he did. The entire performance. She’s made a big difference already. Really grateful we found her, and I’m sure she’ll be part of many more adventures to come. "

"We have Muirtoys in our school and these animals have all been enjoyed by the children.  They use them when they feel overwhelmed and upset.  We have observed the children lying down with them on their tummy and some like the weight on their head, the weight seems to help them relax.  The books have also been a hit as the children have been able to discuss their feelings when they see that Amber and Ernie from the book have these challenges.
